Feedback of Mock Interview at the Employment Support Centre, Algonquin College Preparation is vital for a successful job interview and getting a dream job. Mock interview is one of the best ways to get prepared for a real employment interview. This mock interview was conducted on the 27th of January, 2015 at the Employment Support Centre of Algonquin College. The sample interview questions are structured into four major sections, which are introductory, behavioural, problem/situational and technical questions. At the end of each section, the interviewer suggested better approaches to answer some of the questions in the section. The feedbacks from the interviewer include: i) When applicant is introducing his/herself, it is important to exclude personal or family information from self-introduction. ii) Clearly state reason(s) for choosing to apply for the position advertized and explain the reason for oneââ¬â¢s interest in working with the company. iii) Conduct a thorough research about the company; it is expected of applicants to know some information about the company in advance. There is a need to know the companyââ¬â¢s services, departments, mission/goal, areas of expertise, modes of operations, and the names of key officers, among other valuable information. The companyââ¬â¢s website and search engines are sources of information about the company. These sources help applicants to answer commonly asked questions such as ââ¬Å"Tell me what you know about this companyâ⬠or Tell me why you
